He seems off somehow.

Little D is acting a bit...off. He's a little more whiny then usual (if that's even possible), seems a little tired and confused and complaining of hurting. This morning his eye lid was swollen and he pointed out to it and said ouch. This afternoon he clutched his stomach and said "Tummy ouchy". Then this evening clutched his groin area, doubled over (!!!) and said "Ouchy peepee". And not only that but he's gone to the bathroom three times in about two hours which is a lot for him, and every time he's not aimed properly and made a mess, which is not like him lately.

I mentioned to my mom in the middle of all this that I worry he might have a UTI. Ick, poor guy, I really hope it's not but some of the signs are there. I'm getting more and more worried; it's not like him to complain so much.

It's about bed time and I think I'll keep an eye on him for now. I'm just worried.

Yes, a waste of money!

Just hours after I posted yesterday I got my period.

Grr.

I fricken knew it!!! Next time I'm thinking it's taking an awful long time for my time to start I think I'll take that unopened box of two pregnancy tests and rub them up and down my arms and I'll be sure to start! What an annoyance!

Speaking of that time of the months, if I may...IT'S BEEN SO HORRIBLE!! They keep getting worse and worse and heavier and more painful. So, I'm thinking that I'm going to actively try to get pregnant in the next six months and if I do, awesome and if I don't, well, it's not meant to be to be and I'll love my little boy with all my heart. Then I'm going to get the Merena again because it was nice. The whole two years I had it in I only had about six light periods. What a joy!!!

That (period talk) went longer then I thought it would. Sorry! I originally wanted to post that I'm gunna pick up Intuative Eating but I need to make an important step first:

Love the life I have NOW. It's a good life, but I'm not living it with the full potential I could be. For me that has to be the first step and I'm giving myself time to do that.

Still no time of the month, I did, however, break down and my some tests.

Today my breasts are a bit sore and just this evening I feel myself getting weepy at the slightest things. Gah!

If I start tomorrow after I take that damn test I'll be pissed. What a waste of money!

By the way I told E I was late on Saturday morning and he just nodded and asked if it was OK with me he'd still like to get frisky. I told him again today what was going on and he asked my if I thought I was pregnant with a big old goofy grin on his face. He's so silly, I know he really loves being a dad.

Maybe we'll see tomorrow. Then again maybe I'll wait it out till the weekend.

That time of the month...

...is usually late. But by only by about a week or so. My cycle has been about 45 days lately.

However, I haven't had a period this month (Feb). What the hell?!?!

Usually I take a preg test and I start the dreaded mess that very day. REALLY, it's TRUE!! That's the very day I start! So I decided I will not take the test for another three weeks. Why? I don't know why other than I hate to be on my period and feel it is a curse that ONLY happends when I take a pregnancy test. Screw you, period, if you're gunna start then fucken start already.

If I am pregnant then Oh My Goodness!! I doubt it but I wouldn't hate the idea...

Home in one piece

I made it thru surgery, it was just fine. Other than being tired I feel pretty good right now.

I'm sitting by our big windows watching the guys play outside, it really turned out to be a beautiful day.

Little D is getting the hang of riding his bike, he's so cute to watch. He's so proud of himself when he gets going.

I'm logging off for now, I'm pretty groggy it seems. Thinking is making me sleeeeeeepyyyy!

The Big Day

Tomorrow is surgery day. I'm nervous as hell. I think I've been watching too many shows where the patient is on the surgery table and codes to death. Seriously, I need to turn the TV off more often.

E has taken tomorrow and Thursday off and told me he'd be at my beck and call. We'll see, he's putting is engine back together and I know that even though he loves me and he wants to be there to help me heal, he is happy to have a couple of days to devote to his car. I'm totally not upset by this because I always knew he'd have two loves. ;)

But really, the Ortho said that he wants me not to be immobile and to be up doing light work around the house with little periods of icing my knee. I plan on having this house in proper order by tonight so I'll have just the bare minimum to do. I only want E to be around just in case I need a break or I have pain. Pain really makes me irritable and sick. And bitchy. I can't deal with a whiny three-year-old if I have pain. So I'm using E as my back up, just in case.

My work took me off the schedule for four weeks and even though I'm sure I'll be fine in a few days (that's what the Ortho said!) I'm going to try to just enjoy the weekends I do have off. I really need a break from work but I'm sure I'll miss it after the first weekend. Yes, I'm weird.

So tonight is more pick up and No Cooking!! We're having left over mish-mash which I don't do very often because I feel like I'm using the guys as human refridgerator cleaners. Hey, the food is fresh! Better to eat it then to waste it!

*sigh* I keep having to tell myself that I'll be fine, I'll be just great. I won't expire on the table, I'm in good hands. I'll be fine!!

Momma, icky nose!

Little Boo has a sinus infection. We took him to the Dr yesterday because he just wasn't getting better. He was a miserable, hot, sad little snot ball. The kicker was when he went to go get something out of his room he walked where as usually the kid runs from one side of the house to the other. This little act in itself was so unlike him that we knew something was wrong, it was more than your run of the mill cold.

And after three and a half years E finally met D's pediatrician. It was kind of funny introducing them, where has E been all this time? Oh, yeah, at work! I don't feel bad because all of D's appointments in the past have been Well Child Check-ups and the two or (now) three times that he's been sick we've seen the on call doc and E has come with us. We are pretty lucky that D's as healthy as he has been.

My biggest concern was dehydration because I know from working at an Urgent Care that if a child shows any signs of dehydration we automatically send them to the ER for fluids. Children can get dehydrated so fast that it passes the threshold into 'danger' very quickly. Dr. A wants him to have at least 3 peepees a day (he had only been having 2) but he still had tears and good coloring in his limbs so she just sent us home with some antibiotics and told us to get him to sip on anything, even pop at that point but gatorade would be best. I got to buy a bunch of flavors of gatorade!! Yum, my favorite drink!! Sadly, they are not for me.

So far D is showing good signs of improvement. I wish he'd eat more, but who can eat with a yucky nose? He is now asleep here in bed with me hogging up the covers but how can I care about that? He's finally getting some good sleep on his way to being his old, mischevious self.

Haha, yes I'm a dork! My L button is off and makes it hard to type. Luckily, I don't seem to need it that often. I'm going to have to have E do some minor surgery on my laptop, I need it during knee surgery recovery.

D is sick AGAIN and while I feel so bad for him I hope he gets better soon and doesn't pass this on to me again. He just wants to snuggle while he's sick and I hope that I'm not sick when surgery time comes around because my knee has been fricken killing me.

I think I need to air this house out because E still sounds stuffy and I still wake up with a sore throat and I have congestion. This house must be stagnant has hell because it has been so cold and rainy here that of course I don't want the heat to blow out the windows.

I need to fold sheets before I get in bed and put undies in the drier 'cuz E is down to wearing his holy socks and complaining.
